Working as an application programmer, Dawid Rewak’s real passion has always been the arts. Best known in the Polish community for his long-standing involvement with Polish Folklore Ensemble Tatry in Adelaide, Dawid’s lesser known interests lie in his other hobby, which he began practising (and exhibiting) at just nine years of age. He has exhibited and sold his paintings at The Royal Adelaide Show, Victor Harbor Art Show, Hahndorf Streetscape, Dozynki Harvest Festival, and is on his way to becoming a fellow of the Royal South Australian Society of Arts in Adelaide after receiving two awards of merit. Dawid’s art can be found in households all over Adelaide, and he is proud to draw on his Polish heritage and apply it wherever he can.
