Irene Zarebski was born in Poland, arriving in Australia in 2000. In Poland, she graduated as an Architectural and Building Designer. Continuing her studies in Australia, Irene completed a Diploma of Visual Art (2014) from the Canberra Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Visual Art majoring in Sculpture and Painting (2017) from the Australian National University. Her artworks are based on various artistic, cultural, and social influences that establish a new realm of expression of ideas and values. Through painting, she has created a personal reference, and her emotions explore the possibilities of a new concept for the final completed work. Irene is President of the Polish Arts & Crafts Society, Canberra. She is also involved in multiple Australian art organisations, including the Artists Society of Canberra, Canberra Art Workshop, and Queanbeyan Art Society. She has participated in many group exhibitions in Canberra, Queanbeyan and at PolArt Brisbane 2018.
