Jo Stevenson was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1970, and arrived in Sydney, Australia in 1976. She studied Fine Arts at University of New South Wales College of Fine Arts (1988-1990), Design Fundamentals at Design Centre Enmore TAFE (1999), Visual Communication at University of Technology Sydney (2000-2002), and Photo Imaging at TAFE (2018). She first exhibited at PolArt Sydney 1991 alongside her grandmother, Joanna Kedzierska. Jo currently works as a professional photographer in Sydney.
