Joanna Lang is an art conservator and exhibitions curator. Born in Kraków, she has worked in the Warsaw Rising Museum for 17 years, then moved to Australia in 2021. She has a Master’s Degree in Art Conservation, specialising in easel and wall paintings from the Nicolaus Copernicus University, Toruń, Poland, and post graduate studies in Museology. Art and painting has always been an important part of Joanna’s life. Now residing in Australia, Joanna is inspired by the Australian light and bright colours, which continues her exploration and creative process. The portrait of Stanislaw de Tarczyński, as a historical painting reconstruction, expresses her two passions for history and for art.
