Joanna Sosna completed her Master’s Degree in Art Conservation and Restoration from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland in 1989, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Heritage Studies at Curtin University in 2007. Her work experience includes restoring the altar in St. John Cathedral in Toruń, and completing chemical analyses of the 12 Apostles gothic sculptures in the St. Catherine Church in Brodnica. She has spent the last 4 years writing about icons using the egg tempera painting technique, and painting abstract art. Joanna currently resides in Perth.
